The 5% FDA Loophole
How much essential oil would you guess is a bottle labeled 100% Pure Essential Oil?
100% right? That’s what I thought. But I was wrong.
The FDA allows companies to print 100% Pure Essential Oils on the label as long as the bottle actually contains at least 5% essential oils.
Only 5%!
Imagine if the same rules applied to Gold or Gasoline.
It’s insane. But because of this crazy loophole, companies all around the globe are jumping on the essential oil trend and taking advantage of this loophole as an excuse to dupe consumers like me and you just to print money.
